High Performance, FPGA-Optimized LDPC for Storage by Helen Tarn, Sr. Engineering Manager at Xilinx
As the capacity of flash memory device continues to grow, the use of a more powerful error correction code such as LDPC, is necessary to solve the reliability issue of storage devices. In this talk, Helen will discuss the LDPC design challenges and unveil Xilinx's FPGA-optimized LDPC error correction solutions for enabling next-generation flash memory applications across the cloud and data center storage market.

Addressing NVMe over Fabric and Storage Acceleration with FPGAs by Shre Shah, Data Center Architect at Xilinx
This session will discuss how storage services such as caching, comp/de-comp, security and de-duplication are required to be hardware accelerated to meet data center performance and latency requirements at a reasonable cost and power envelope. Shre will explain how FPGAs play a crucial role in storage services in NVMe over Fabric-u solutions.

This demonstration features a Kintex UltraScale KCU105 device showcasing Xilinx's FPGA-optimized LDPC Error Correction LogiCORE™ IP solution. This solution is a highly efficient FPGA implementation delivering maximum performance and low latency with industry-leading error floor.
