SuperH partners with MindTree Consulting to deliver wireless SoC platforms
San Jose, California; Bristol, UK and Tokyo, Japan – 27 August 2002 - SuperH, Inc. the world leader in developing and licensing 32 and 64-bit cores for Custom System-on-Chip applications and MindTree Consulting, a product realization services company, today announced their partnership to offer embedded solutions around SuperH's SH-4 and SH-5 core series. Through this partnership, SuperH's customers can benefit from MindTree's highly skilled System-on-Chip (SoC) design expertise and allied wireless intellectual properties such as Bluetooth and WLAN, tuned to run in SuperH driven SoC environments.
MindTree caters to the SoC needs of the consumer electronics, automotive and storage markets along with the ability to offer end to end concept to systems services, which include access to chip manufacturing, system level design and embedded software. With this relationship and the deep knowledge in IP reuse and platforms, MindTree are in a position to provide higher value to SuperH's customers.
