True Circuits Joins Design & Reuse Web Portal for IP and SoC Exchange
SIP Web Portal Points Designers to Silicon-Proven PLL Macros from TCI
LOS ALTOS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 27, 2002--True Circuits, Inc. (TCI), a leading provider of mixed-signal intellectual property (IP) for the semiconductor and systems industries, announced today that it has partnered with Design and Reuse (D&R), a semiconductor IP (SIP) web portal for IC and SoC information exchange.
TCI has added its silicon-proven IP cores to D&R's online IP portfolio. These cores provide ASIC designers leading-edge circuit technology which helps improve chip performance and reduce design costs and turnaround time.
"D&R's goal matches our goal -- to help designers develop products quickly and efficiently with the latest circuit technology," stated Stephen Maneatis, CEO of True Circuits. "The D&R SIP Web portal expands our reach to the global marketplace, since this is where many ASIC designers from around the world go to find information about proven and portable hard macros, such as our low-jitter PLL designs."
Dr. Gabriele Saucier, chairman of the board of Design and Reuse, added, "We are pleased that TCI has selected our web portal as a vehicle for promoting its silicon-proven PLL IP to the global marketplace."
TCI offers a family of standardized PLL designs that spans nearly all the performance points and features requested by ASIC designers. The designs are available for immediate delivery in a range of frequencies, multiplication factors and options for CMOS processes from 0.25 to 0.13 micron and for foundries such as TI, TSMC and UMC.
