iCatch Technology Selects Synopsys' DesignWare IP Portfolio for Digital Video and Image SoCs
High-Quality IP Combined with Synopsys' HAPS-70 FPGA-Based Prototyping System and Professional Services Accelerate Time-to-Market
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Dec. 17, 2015 -- Synopsys, Inc. (Nasdaq:SNPS), today announced that iCatch Technology has selected Synopsys' portfolio of silicon-proven DesignWare® IP, scalable FPGA-based prototyping system and trusted professional design services for its digital video and image system-on-chip (SoC). They adopted the silicon-proven DesignWare USB 2.0 picoPHY, Gen 2 DDR multiPHY and Controllers, HDMI 2.0 TX PHY, Data Converter and Audio Analog Codec IP. iCatch also adopted Synopsys' HAPS®-70 FPGA-based prototyping system for faster IP prototyping and to enable early hardware/software integration and system validation. iCatch is turning to Synopsys professional design services to meet their area, power and time-to-market requirements.
