Acquisition expands engineering globally, Supports Wi-Fi implementation needs of OEM customers
SANTA ANA, CA, January 14, 2016 – Silex Technology, Inc. (Kyoto, Japan), a global leader in wired and wireless networking solutions, today announced a definitive agreement to acquire embWiSe, an expert in complete embedded Wi-Fi® driver software and security supplicant frameworks. embWiSe is a successful India-based company bringing expertise in Wi-Fi® technologies and is a Qualcomm authorized design center. The addition of embWiSe will further Silex Technology’s focus to assist customers in embedded wireless enablement.
