Boost Valley Announces V-by-One HS Verification IP
Cairo, Egypt - June 1st, 2016 - Boost Valley has announced the release of the 1st version of its V-by-One HS Verification IP. V-by-One®HS is an electrical digital signaling standard that was developed by Thine Electronics Inc. to support higher frame rates and higher resolutions required by advancing flat panel display (FPD) technologies, while reducing costs and time to market. V-by-One HS has been widely adopted in various markets such as projectors, automotive infotainment systems, multifunction printers, medical devices, robotics and amusement equipment. V-by-One HS, by its SerDes and CDR (Clock recovery) technology, achieves the high speed of 4 Gbit/s, decreasing the number of cable and connectors, hence reducing Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) as well as the total cost for cables/connectors. V-by-One HS supports multi-lane transmission in order to increase the transmission speed.
Boost Valley offers V-by-One HS Verification IP as part of its InspiringVIP product line.
The introduced V-by-One HS VIP is Emulator-Friendly, which allows customers to speed up verification process using an emulator. Boost Valley addresses customers’ need for an easy reusable VIP with highly configurable test sequences to cover all features and operation modes specified in V-by-One HS standard. Among its supported features is the injection and detection of all types of errors, a full list of protocol checkers and a complete coverage model for the events and features defined by the standard. The VIP is efficiently coded in pure SystemVerilog. We promise our customers a complete flexible solution that reduces the time needed to build their test-benches as well as the time needed to run and debug their designs.
Our mission is to maximize our customers’ benefits by reducing their time to market as well as reducing the total engineering cost.
V-by-One HS VIP Product includes:
- Samples of Test-cases to test all supported V-By-One HS features.
- Built-in coverage analysis model.
- VIP User’s Manual
- V-By-One HS Tx/Rx UVM Verification IP
- Sample ScoreBoard
Boost Valley offers a portfolio of products that covers multimedia interface Verification IPs such HDMI 2.0 Verification IP; peripherals such as I2C, I2S, SPDIF, SPI, UART Verification IPs; PHY’s such as MIPI C-PHY Verification IPs. The family is growing soon to include more IoT and automotive VIPs.
