Open-Silicon Strengthens Management Team With Key Executive Appointments
Former President of Faraday Technology Corporation, USA, Mark Wright, Named Senior VP of Sales and Marketing; Former VP of Engineering at Synapse Design, Anam Haque, Appointed VP of Silicon Engineering
MILPITAS, CA-- July 26, 2016 -- Underscoring its commitment to continued advancements in system-optimized ASIC solutions and innovation, Open-Silicon today announced two key appointments to its management team. Mark Wright, former President of Faraday Technology Corporation, USA, will serve as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Open-Silicon, and Anam Haque, former Vice President of Engineering for Synapse Design, has been appointed Vice President of Silicon Engineering.
Mark, a 27-year veteran of the semiconductor industry, will be responsible for Open-Silicon's worldwide sales force and the company's continued design win successes with system companies and startups across the globe. He will also lead the company's global marketing team. Mark has a proven track record in building and managing sales and marketing teams at a variety of semiconductor and ASIC companies. He will report directly to President and CEO Taher Madraswala.

Anam brings nearly two decades of semiconductor design and implementation experience to Open-Silicon, and has extensive expertise in SoC and FPGA design, IP and mixed signal design. Also reporting to Taher Madraswala, Anam will be responsible for the company's SoC implementation team and facilitating the delivery of reliable parts with predictable schedules. Prior to joining Open-Silicon, Anam was Vice President of Engineering at Synapse Design, where he was responsible for technology developments, including multiple tapeouts in technologies down to 14nm. Anam has also held engineering management positions at AMD, Qualcomm and Avanti.
