Ridgetop Group and BaySand Partner to Expand Mixed-Signal IP Portfolio and Services into Silicon Valley, Asia
Partnership Will Provide IP, BIST, Solutions for Optimized Integrated Systems and Subsystems
Tucson, ARIZ. –– September 7, 2016 –– Ridgetop Group, Inc. and Silicon Valley-based BaySand Inc., the leader in application configurable application specific integrated circuits (ASICs), today announced they will work cooperatively to develop a series of new applications to increase their existing mixed-signal intellectual property (IP) portfolios.
Through a wide-ranging partnership, they also will offer system-on-chip (SoC) developers in Silicon Valley and Asia design expertise and field programmable gate array (FPGA)-to-ASIC conversion for mass production using Ridgetop Group technology.
The partnership will showcase and leverage their complementary skills. Ridgetop Group is noted for its extensive knowledge developing semiconductor intellectual property (SIP), built-in self-test (BIST) solutions for critical applications, and board-level solutions for optimized integrated subsystems and systems. BaySand will apply its design, sales and marketing expertise to reach a broader community of SoC developers, extending its capabilities around its Silicon Platform design.
