NGCodec and PathPartner Technology jointly demonstrate H.265/HEVC codecs running on Xilinx FPGA's at the IBC Show
NGCodec will show its H.265/HEVC Encoder IP streaming to the PathPartner H.265/HEVC Decoder IP at IBC.
September 7, 2016 -- NGCodec® in its booth 9.LP3 will demonstrate its RealityCodec™ running on a Xilinx® Kintex® UltraScale™ KU60 FPGA. Real-time 1080p video will be fed into the KU060 board via HDMI and two independent channels will be encoder and sent via Ethernet. One channel will sent to the PathParther Technology H.265/HEVC video decoder running on a Xilinx® Zynq® 7000 FPGA and the 2nd channel will be decoded on a Linux PC using FFMPEG.
“NGCodec and PathPartner Technology have been working together to achieve ultra low end to end latency video solution” said Oliver Gunasekara, CEO & Co-founder of NGCodec. NGCodec RealityCodec has been tuned to avoid any buffering and can deliver sub frame latency.
“PathPartner offers highly efficient and scalable HEVC decoder IP on different programmable FPGA platforms” said Ramkishor Korada, EVP Business Development and Sales at PathPartner Technology.
