RamKishor Korada, Co-founder and Marketing & Sales Head of PathPartner, said, “We have been licensing multimedia codec components to OEMs and Semiconductor companies for a decade now. PathPartner’s extensive experience with OEMs from Broadcast, Online gaming, Video conferencing and Media streaming companies, ensures our offerings are highly customizable for your broadcast workflow.”
A dedicated team for developing HEVC solutions was started in PathPartner, way back in 2011. Since then, they are focused on continuous improvement of the quality and performance of both encoder and decoder to achieve optimized video delivery.
PathPartner, now offers highly scalable and multi-channel HEVC Decoder solution on FPGA which was initiated with a vision of emerging into ‘One Stop Shop for all HEVC solutions’. PathPartner started porting a complete software solution on ARM+FPGA SoC in 2014. They pioneered Hybrid HEVC Decoder on Zynq 7045 with 1080p 30fps solution in 2015 at NAB show, demonstrating their accomplishment of real time decoding on Zynq 7045 at 1080p, 30fps as a milestone just a year ago. And, at this year’s IBC, the team is all excited to demonstrate real time streaming from PC based encoder and FPGA decoder.
PathPartner also offers real-time UHD decoder implementations on
- Quad core ARM (1080p60, 420, 10-bit) which was licensed to a Tier-1 Automotive SoC
- Intel i5 and i7 CPUs (4Kp60, 420, 8-bit)
- Intel i7 + Iris pro GPU (4Kp60, 422, 10-bit) and
- Xilinx Zynq-7000 (4Kp30, 420, 8-bit)
PathPartner has a flexible business model and focusses on performance and quality which has enabled their customers to deploy our HEVC solutions. To watch the demonstrations and get a free evaluation copy and detailed VQ analysis report of their real-time encoder, visit booth number 5.C59 from September 9th to 13th @ IBC, RAI Amsterdam.
