Faraday Exhibits Total IP Solutions and IoT SoC Platform at ESC 2017
Hsinchu, Taiwan -- Apr. 27, 2017 -- Faraday Technology Corporation (TWSE: 3035), a leading ASIC design service and IP provider, today announced that it will showcase the V-by-One IP Evaluation Board and the Uranus™ ultra-low-power IoT SoC development platform at Embedded Systems Conference (ESC), May 3-4, 2017 in Boston, MA, USA.
For more than two decades, Faraday has developed and accumulated thousands of IP, all of which were developed in UMC’s numerous process nodes. Faraday’s extensive IP portfolio including fundamental libraries, memory compilers, CPU cores, SoC peripherals, as well as high speed interface IPs such as USB, PCIe, V-by-One, MIPI, LVDS, programmable SerDes, and DDR4, can be applied to various business sectors such as automotive, networking, consuming, medical, and multimedia applications.
The demonstrated Uranus platform is a 32-bit MCU-based ultra-low-power SoC with embedded flash memory, targeting to accelerate the development of IoT applications. By using Faraday’s proprietary Turbo Mode, the Uranus platform can keep the same performance with extremely low-power consumption.
"For our first attendance in ESC Boston, we are very excited to present our total IP solutions and IoT solution," said Steve Wang, President of Faraday. "Since our establishment in 1993, Faraday has delivered more than 2,200 ASIC mass production projects, thus we are confident in our ability to help customers develop a successful SoC with more innovative features for IoT and other energy-efficient applications now and beyond. We look forward to exploring more opportunities at the show and building strong business relationships in the US."
Booth Demonstrations:
May 3-4 (Wed-Thu), Booth #1179
- Faraday Uranus Ultra-Low-Power IoT SoC Development Platform (FIE3255)
- Faraday V-by-One IP Evaluation Board
