Silvaco to Acquire SoC Solutions
Systems Expertise Deepens Silvaco’s Strong IP Team
SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- June 15, 2017 -- Silvaco, Inc. today announced it has entered into a letter of intent to acquire SoC Solutions. Founded in 2000, SoC Solutions is a privately held company providing semiconductor IP and services located in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area. With a long history of designing SoCs with embedded microprocessors, the experienced ASIC and embedded software developers will add significant technical depth to the already strong IP team at Silvaco.
SoC Solutions assist customers developing the next generation of IoT (Internet of Things) and M2M (Machine to Machine) silicon devices by supplying semiconductor IP combined with world class services to build innovative connected products. Pre-configured IP Subsystems from SoC Solutions have been deployed successfully in numerous ASICs, SOCs, FPGAs and Structured ASIC designs over many generations of products from major OEMs and semiconductor companies.
