Infineon Technologies Joins Verisity's LicenseE Program
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 12, 2002--Verisity Ltd. (Nasdaq:VRST), the leading supplier of essential technology and methodology for functional verification, today announced that Infineon Technologies (FSE:IFX)(NYSE:IFX), a leading provider of semiconductor and system solutions for applications in the wired and wireless communications markets, has joined its LicenseE(TM) program. Infineon joins the growing list of companies coming together through the LicenseE program in an effort to drive Verisity's e language towards public standardization.

The EDA industry has seen significant momentum around the standardization of Verisity's e language. By joining the LicenseE program, Infineon will help to accelerate that effort. LicenseE partners automatically become part of the e language Steering Committee. The Steering Committee's purpose is to drive the e language to standardization to better serve the verification market. All companies on the Steering Committee have equal say, including Verisity.
