UltraSoC appoints Aileen Smith as Chief Strategy Officer
Jan 4, 2018 -- UltraSoC today announced that Aileen Smith has joined the company as Chief Strategy Officer, bringing significant and senior strategic and operational experience to the company.
Before joining UltraSoC, Aileen advised Huawei Technologies on its telecom strategy in her role as Strategic Advisor and Head of Ecosystem Development. Aileen’s successful career spans software engineering, operations and strategy with a variety of firms including Huawei, TM Forum, Motorola and Alcatel.
Aileen’s reputation and experience is widely recognized and called upon regularly: Last year she was named by Silicon Republic as one of the top 25 Irish leaders in the Sci-Tech world; Aileen also serves on the editorial advisory boards for both VanillaPlus and IOTNow publications; and is a regular speaker and moderator at events around the world.

Aileen holds an M.B.A., an M.Sc. in Computer Science, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Micro-electronic Engineering from University College Cork.
