Mindtree announces BQB qualification of its Bluetooth Mesh v1.0 Software Stack and EtherMind Bluetooth v5.0 Software Stack & Profiles
Bangalore, India, March 28th, 2018 – Mindtree Ltd., has announced the BQB (Bluetooth Qualification Body) qualification of its Bluetooth Mesh v1.0 Software Stack along with its Bluetooth v5.0 Software Stack & Profiles (Declaration ID #D038060). These IPs have already been licensed to major semiconductor companies and will be showcased in the upcoming Bluetooth Asia (May 30th, 31st) in Shenzhen.

Bluetooth Mesh is set to revolutionize the connected homes, industrial and light-ing markets. Mindtree’s Bluetooth Mesh Software stack, is a complete imple-mentation combining the core mesh profiles and mesh models with all the man-datory and optional features. Mindtree’s Bluetooth Mesh Software has already been licensed to major semiconductor companies.
The Bluetooth Mesh software stack offers a simple set of interfaces that helps developers upgrade their Bluetooth low energy-enabled embedded device into a mesh-ready node. Mindtree’s Mesh Software runs on any Bluetooth low energy stack, interfacing into the standard GAP and GATT interfaces.
EtherMind Bluetooth v5.0 Single Mode Stack & Profiles Software
Bluetooth low energy version v5.0 specifications focuses on increased data throughput and better power efficiency. Mindtree’s BQB-certified Single Mode Stack & Profiles supports all mandatory and optional single mode profiles and roles. The Software is production-proven and has been licensed to tier-1 semi-conductor manufacturers and OEMs globally.
Mindtree’s EtherMind Bluetooth v5.0 Software Stack & Profiles is optimized to run equally efficiently on embedded platforms and host CPUs. It requires signifi-cantly less (2x-10x) memory compared to competitive offerings. The Software Stack & Profiles are designed for portability across OS, MCU architecture and is inter-operable across any BQB-compliant Bluetooth low energy chipset.
