EnSilica becomes Arm Approved Design Partner
Wokingham, UK - 16 April 2018 -- EnSilica has announced that it has become an Arm Approved Design Partner. The company is highly experienced in developing digital and mixed signal SoCs and has been integrating third party IP into designs since EnSilica was founded in 2001.
"Becoming an Arm Approved Design Partner is an important recognition of our design skills and commitment to quality," said Ian Lankshear, EnSilica's MD. "Existing customers know that they can trust us with their designs and this third party validation of our abilities will bring in new customers."
Over the years of creating solutions for a variety of markets such as automotive, industrial, consumer and personal healthcare, EnSilica has built up a library of IP that complements and fully integrates with Arm® processor IP, enabling it to rapidly design custom ASICs for customers using pre-verified IP blocks.
Ciaran Dunne, vice president and general manager, Partner Enablement Group, Arm, added, "EnSilica provides customers with a one-stop-shop from design through manufacture and test to final silicon. Combined with tried and tested IP from Arm, it offers industry partners a low-risk solution from specification to silicon supply, enabling them to achieve rapid time-to-market."
This business model of managing the entire chip production process for customers has resulted in EnSilica more than doubling sales and staff numbers in the last two years and receiving industry recognition through numerous awards.
