Xylon Appoints Sam Kasgorgis New VP of Sales and Marketing for North America
Xylon Appoints Veteran Executive to Lead logiRECORDER Automotive Video Data Loggers Customer Expansion in North America
Zagreb (Croatia) - May 4, 2018 – Xylon, innovators in data logging for testing, verification and validation of video and vision based Advanced Driver Assistance (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD), and the leading provider of intellectual property and design services for FPGAs, today announced the appointment of Sam Kasgorgis as vice president of sales and marketing for North America. In his new role, Kasgorgis will assume responsibility for US based sales and marketing of Xylon’s products.
“Sam joins Xylon as we seek to expand our NA footprint and to demonstrate our commitment to assure the industry’s highest levels of service and support for our customers”, commented Davor Kovačec, founder and CEO of Xylon. “We are confident his enthusiasm and talents will be instrumental in expanding our reach into the automotive ADAS/AD test and validation market. We are proud to have Sam on our team.”
Xylon was founded in 1995 to design and deliver FPGA based embedded systems, and since then it has grown into a prominent provider of intellectual property in the fields of embedded graphics, video and image processing, and networking. The company’s reach experience in designing FPGA-based automotive infotainment and ADAS was crucial to the development of all-in-one automotive data logger for raw multi-channel video and network data recording, data analysis, and playback of the logged data in realistic Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulations. Xylon’s data loggers insert between the real vehicle’s camera installation and the Electronic Control Units (ECUs) to non-invasively record Terabytes (TB) of uncompressed multi-camera video, networks sensory and ECU data per a single recording session. Additional information about the logiRECORDER automotive video data loggers can be found on Xylon’s website: https://www.logicbricks.com/Solutions/Xylon-logiRECORDER-Multi-Channel-Recording-Vision-ADAS-Kit.aspx
Commenting on his appointment, Sam Kasgorgis said, “Xylon is well positioned to help our customers develop and validate the best in class systems for ADAS and AD technologies, by leveraging the logiRECORDER system. I look forward to working with this highly talented and motivated team at some of the most exciting frontiers in engineering”
