LDIC Announces Intellectual Property and Integrated Circuits Manufacturing Agreement with NEC Electronics, Commercializing the “True Single Chip HDD” for Hard Disk Drive Applications
PRnewswire, December 13, San Jose, California – LDIC, the technology leader in the development of Super Integration, Storage, Communication solutions and Mixed Signal Technology has completed its Intellectual Property licensing for Read-Write Channel in addition to manufacturing technology of 0.25 and 0.18 micron BiCMOS technology with NEC Microelectronics.
The license agreements provide LDIC the capability to expedite "True Single Chip HDD" products to market with the highest level of quality and manufacturability. This allows LDIC to incorporate new features and technologies into their products, reducing cost, power dissipation and development time, all of which significantly benefit their customers. LDIC has also negotiated manufacture of integrated chipsets using NEC fabrication.
