Silvaco Partners with Incubator Silicon Power Technology to Accelerate Success of Semiconductor Startups
CHENGDU, China and SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 23, 2019 – Silicon Power Technology, a Sino-foreign joint venture and technology incubator, and Silvaco Inc., a leading supplier of EDA software and design IP, today announced their partnership to support the growth of the next generation of power semiconductor companies in China.
The Power Semiconductor sector is critical for China’s overall growth in new markets, such as electric-cars, and the continued development of high-speed trains, subways, consumer appliances and enterprise industrial electronics.
Silicon Power Technology ,through its incubator program, provides a comprehensive platform for startup companies combining office space, management support, technology R&D support and fundraising. Located in the Tianfu Software Development Park in Chengdu, China, it is the first Chinese incubator dedicated to serving startups in the power semiconductor industry.
In partnership with Silvaco, Silicon Power Technology and its portfolio companies will receive preferential access to Silvaco’s industry-leading tools and solutions for both device and process simulation of power semiconductors.
