IC'Alps joins Arm Approved Design Partner program to better support customers with ASIC development
Meylan, FRANCE – OCTOBER 08, 2019 - IC’Alps, the French one-stop shop ASIC partner offering custom Integrated Circuit development and supply, today announced it has been appointed an Arm® Approved Design Partner.
The Arm Approved Design Partner program is a global network of design service companies endorsed by Arm.
This accreditation follows a stringent auditing process covering areas such as technical expertise, design flow robustness, company commitment to quality and security, risk management, and financial stability. “It is a recognition of our engineering expertise to design with, and implement Arm processor IP in quality and on time”, commented Lucille Engels, IC’Alps’ COO. “For each use case, embedding processors is a matter of ability in clarifying the communication paths and defining the power domains structure to satisfy the requirements of our customer in terms of circuit performance but also security (secure boot for example). Besides, with an extensive database of PPA data (Power, Performance, Area - from 180 nm down to 22 nm) for Arm Cortex®-based designs, we are in good position to support our customers with the selection of technology and foundation IP for their ASIC, and to reach the required PPA for their application.”
“We created the Arm Approved Design Partner program to provide a channel between industry leaders and customers seeking to successfully implement custom designs based on Arm IP,” said Ciaran Dunne, vice president and general manager, Partner Enablement at Arm. “This accreditation assures our mutual partners that IC’Alps will provide expert support and has the design expertise to create highly innovative Arm-based ASIC designs.”
