Veriest marks 1st anniversary of meetup series with special event in Belgrade
Rafi Nave, former Director of Technion Entrepreneurship Center will be sharing Israeli hi-tech industry best-practices
December 4th, 2019 - Veriest Solutions, a leading international Electronics Design Services house, announced that it will be holding a special event to mark the 1st anniversary of a series of Design&Verification meetups in Belgrade, Serbia. Over this period, this will be the 4th meetup in Serbia, with presentations by guest from prestigious international companies such as Intel, Amazon and CEVA DSP, besides Veriest technical experts.
The special keynote of the upcoming event is Rafi Nave, up until recently the Director of the Bronica Entrepreneurship Center of the Technion, the leading technical academic institute of Israel, responsible for educating Engineering students and guiding them in practice of Entrepreneurship.
Throughout his distinguished career in the Israeli and international electronics industry, Rafi was part of the founding team of Intel operations in Israel, CTO of Tower Semiconductors and VP R&D of Given Imaging, where he led the development the innovative PillCam video-capsules, the medical technology industry's most advanced devices for clinical diagnosis.
Rafi will be speaking about "Getting Smarter: How new trends in Technology: IoT, Big-Data, ML are impacting on Smart Home, Smart City, Smart Everything". In his presentation, Rafi will discuss how the fast changes in technology we are experiencing impact how we live, work and learn and review several outstanding new technologies and focus areas that attract the Hi-Tech world.
"As part of my activity at the Entrepreneurship Center, we tried to understand what factors led to Israel's success in innovation, and associated practices that work consistently, across different technology areas and various corporate and national cultures." said Rafi. "I'm looking forward to sharing such insights with the Serbian hi-tech community."
