Xilinx and Jungo Software Technologies Accelerate PCI Design Cycle and Reduce System Costs
Xilinx adds Jungo's driver development software to it's PCI 64/66 Design Kit
SAN JOSE, Calif., February 19, 2003 ¾ Xilinx, Inc., (NASDAQ:XLNX) and Jungo Software Technologies, Inc. today announced that Xilinx will include a 30-day evaluation version of Jungo's industry-leading driver development software, WinDriver, KernelDriver and Hardware Debugger in its Real-PCI™ 64/66 design kit. The new addition to the design kit underscores Xilinx's commitment to providing flexible, robust solutions that accelerate product development and ultimately, reduce costs. Xilinx shipped its first PCI technology-based core in 1996 and since then has sold more PCI cores than all its competitors combined. The Real 64/66 PCI design kit includes all the tools required to support the high-performance PC market with 64/66 PCI capabilities. The kit contains a fully tested, pre-verified IP core, a 3.3-V/5-V universal 64-bit/66-MHz PCI prototyping board, expert support services, training, and Jungo's driver development toolkits - WinDriver, KernelDriver and Hardware Debugger.

The tools include graphical user mode development environments, APIs specific to Xilinx PCI technology-based cores, samples, and diagnostic and debug utilities that simplify device driver development and maximize the productivity of device development teams.

The Xilinx Real 64/66 PCI design kit with a pre-verified IP core, the Nallatech PCI64 prototyping board and a free full-featured 30-day WinDriver evaluation is available now for $17,995 from Xilinx distributors. The WinDriver evaluation version is also available for download from the Jungo web site at: http://www.jungo.com/dnload.html.
