SuperH appoints new sales executives
US and European teams expand
San Jose, California and Bristol, UK – 10 March 2003 SuperH, Inc., the leading supplier of multimedia RISC CPU cores, has today announced two new appointments further strengthening its global sales team. In the US, SuperH has appointed George Wells as Director of Sales, and in the UK it has appointed Nick Lodge as European Sales Manager.
In his position as Director of Sales, George Wells will be responsible for driving licensing growth in the US market. George brings with him a wealth of sales and management experience in the areas of custom and semi-custom ASIC & SoC solutions, gained from various positions held at MathStar, Inc., PicoTurbo, Inc., CoWare, Inc., LSI Logic, and VLSI Technology. George, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from San Jose State University, served as the Western US Director of Sales at PicoTurbo, a developer of 32-bit embedded microprocessor Intellectual Property, making him a great fit for SuperH. Nick Lodge joins from CoWare. In his position as European Sales Manager Nick will be responsible for driving growth in the competitive European market. He brings with him extensive sales experience in EDA software from Cadence, VeriBest and most recently CoWare. Nick, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics & Electronics from Bath University, was also a Regional Sales Manager at ARC International, where he was responsible for licensing ARC's IP to key European customers.
