Rambus Elects Kevin Kennedy to its Board of Directors
LOS ALTOS, CA - April 8, 2003 - Rambus Inc. (Nasdaq:RMBS), a leading provider of chip-to-chip interface products and services, today announced it has elected industry-veteran Kevin Kennedy to its Board of Directors. Kevin Kennedy brings 26 years of experience in the networking and communications market to Rambus' board. Mr. Kennedy currently serves as the chief operating officer for Openwave Systems, a leading independent provider of open software products and services for the mobile communications industry. Mr. Kennedy previously held the position of senior vice president of the server provider line of business at Cisco Systems. He started his career as a member of the technical staff and worked his way to management at Bell Laboratories. Mr. Kennedy has also served as a technology consultant for the United States Congress.
