ChipIdea Contributes for Customer Success on Mobile Camera Solutions
Update: MIPS Technologies Acquires Chipidea (August 27, 2007)
Porto Salvo-August 21, 2003 - ChipIdea has successfully completed the development of new data conversion IP cores for application in VGA cameras for mobile communications with resolution of 640x480 pixels.
In cooperation with TransChip, a fabless semiconductor company whose line of business is the design of advanced CMOS imagers for mobile communication devices, ChipIdea has developed a dual 10bit 4MS/s ADC together with a wide range of voltage regulators to deliver the power to all the circuitry inside the chip. This also allowed TransChip to implement an advanced power management scheme with very low power dissipation in sleep mode.
