Consultecq Inc. offers product and technology expertise in system integration to SoC and embedded system customers. Consultecq’s strong customer relationships in the Pacific Northwest will help WDC reach a larger market, and Consultecq’s other product lines will complement WDC’s products to greatly improve SoC and embedded system product time-to-market for OEM manufacturers.
The Western Design Center, Inc. is a pioneer in the design and licensing of low-cost, low-power, microprocessor intellectual property (IP) cores for FPGA and ASIC development. WDC provides the popular W65C02 8- and 16-bit microprocessor/microcontroller technology with a family of standard hard and soft IP cores, and ICs, Along with H/W-S/W development tools, and consulting services, these products enable users to quickly build SoC ASICs and embedded systems. Over 5 billion 65C02-based microcontrollers are the heart of such diverse products as appliances, automobiles, audio/video equipment, cell phones, modems, medical devices, manufacturing robots and instrumentation, and automated test equipment.
