Artisan Appoints New Sales Vice President; R. Keith Hopkins To Lead Artisan's North America and Europe Sales Organizations
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 26, 2004-- Artisan Components, Inc., (NASDAQ:ARTI), a leading provider of physical intellectual property (IP), today announced that it has appointed R. Keith Hopkins as vice president of sales. Hopkins is responsible for leading Artisan's sales organizations in North America and Europe.
Hopkins brings to Artisan over 20 years of sales management experience for semiconductor, fabless and EDA companies. From 2000 to 2003, Hopkins was vice president of worldwide sales at Denali Software, Inc., a verification and semiconductor IP company. From 1999 to 2000, Hopkins was vice president of sales business development for ClickServices.com, a wireless internet applications services company. Previously, he has held sales management positions at Mentor Graphics Corporation, Integrated Measurement Systems, Inc., Daisy Systems and Intel Corporation. Hopkins holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee.

Additionally, it was announced that James Hogan has resigned as senior vice president of business development for Artisan. Hogan is leaving the company to pursue other interests.
