eInfochips Expands Use Of Verisity's VPA Solutions
eInfochips Expands Commitment to Verisity's Verification Alliance Program; Incorporates Complete Suite of Verisity's VPA Methodologies and Technologies
Santa Clara, CA -February 3, 2004 - eInfochips Inc., a member of Verisity's Verification Alliance™ program, today announced that it has increased its use of Verisity's Verification Process Automation (VPA) solutions. Verisity's VPA solutions enable dramatic productivity gains as well as increased productivity, quality and predictability. eInfochips now develops all of their e-based verification environments and eVCs following the e Reuse Methodology (eRM™) and System Verification Methodology (sVM™) guidelines, ensures compliance to these guidelines through Verisity's eAnalyzer™, as well as tracks progress towards closure with Verisity's vManager™ verification management solution. This expanded use of Verisity's solutions deepens eInfochips's commitment to Verisity.
eInfochips was one of the earliest companies to actively embrace Verisity's eRM and Coverage-Driven Verification (CDV) methodologies and is one of the strongest advocates of e-based verification. As a veteran member of Verisity's Verification Alliance program, eInfochips provides consulting services to Verisity's customers, has developed several eVCs and provides joint support together with Verisity for multiple chip tape-outs. Now, eInfochips has expanded their use of Verisity's tools and methodologies to include sVM, vManager and eAnalyzer.
"We're very pleased to be a part of Verisity's program and value our relationship immensely," said Tapan Joshi, VP Marketing at eInfochips. "Verisity is the clear market share leader in the verification space. With their verification expertise, we've learned a tremendous amount and have successfully grown our business."
"eInfochips has made important strides in the past year to stay abreast of Verisity's VPA products and methodologies," stated Larry Lapides, VP of Worldwide Sales and Product Marketing at Verisity. "Now that they use Specman Elite to verify all their internally developed IP they have achieved much higher productivity. With these new steps we expect that eInfochips will continue to conform to Verisity's high quality standards and will more effectively support our joint customers."
