Oulu, Finland - 14th April 2004 - With an established subsidiary in Tokyo and customers across Asia Pacific, the newly opened Korean office further expands Hantro’s presence in the region.

Korea is setting the pace in the adoption of advanced mobile telephone and network technology. Claiming more CDMA subscribers of any country, last year Korea was the first to launch a commercialised 3G service. Korean manufactured mobile phones now account for approximately 30 percent of the global market with demand for mobile solution semiconductor products experiencing rapid growth. Hantro’s Korean office is ideally positioned to support these major semiconductor companies and device manufacturers.
