Silicon & Software Systems Ltd. (S3) selected as preferred supplier to Philips' semiconductor division
DAC, San Diego, June 7th 2004 – Silicon & Software Systems (S3) today announced that it has been selected by Philips' semiconductor division as a preferred Design House for System IC related Design Services.
As a result of this selection, S3 will work with Philips in a range of leading-edge design areas including System on Chip, Analog Mixed Signal, Embedded Software and System Verification. S3 is one of a very small number of Design Houses world-wide that have met the stringent Philips selection criteria.
"S3 has an established track record in the delivery of cutting-edge IC designs and Embedded Software" said René Penning de Vries, CTO of Philips Semiconductors. "I am confident that S3 will contribute very positively towards Philips' goal of delivering an ever-increasing range of innovative new products and solutions to market".
