Tower Semiconductor Ltd. sponsors the Foundry Corner on D&R Web portal to enhance their IP portfolio accessibility
June 16, 2004 – Design And Reuse today announced the new Foundry Corner, sponsored by Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (NASDAQ: TSEM; TASE: TSEM). Tower has chosen to share its IP portfolio with its customers through D&R portal – a unique and comprehensive resource for Intellectual Property (IP) and System on Chip (SoC) design.
The foundry corner provides access to:
- Comprehensive qualified foundry IP listing
- A unique search mechanism for locating the most suitable IP
- Up-to-date information on foundry opportunities, such as available technologies and prototyping programs (shuttles)
- A listing of design centers qualified by a foundry
“D&R is convinced that foundries play a major role in the IP arena. Rating an IP on a foundry is the best quality guarantee for the IP consumer and the qualified IP providers will strongly benefit from such listing” said Gabriele Saucier, chair of the board of D&R.
“As part of our customer service excellence strategy we keep searching for the ideal means to share our IP portfolio with our customers, thus maximizing IP availability.” said Sergio Kusevitzky, Senior Director of Design Services at Tower. “D&R proved to be highly efficient, providing flexible means for building our sharable IP portfolio. D&R imported our data and smoothly generated an XML based catalogue”.
