Jungo Provides Infineon with its OpenRG Software: Software Enables Complete VoIP Solutions for IP Phones, ATAs and Voice Gateways
New silicon/software suite offers highly integrated, comprehensive and cost effective VoIP system solutions
SAN JOSE, Calif., June 30, 2004 - Jungo® Software Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of residential gateway software, today announced that the company will provide its OpenRG software to Infineon Technologies (NYSE:IFX), a leading provider of semiconductor and system solutions. The OpenRG software enables semiconductor suppliers active in the telecommunications industry to offer a comprehensive VoIP solution for IP phones, Analog Telephone Adaptors (ATAs) and voice gateways. Infineon's single chip IP telephone, the INCA-IP, and advanced 2/4 channel ATA which features the ADM5120 network controller and the VINETIC voice processor, are cost-effective solutions for next generation IP-based telephone networks. The combined software/hardware package enables OEMs and ODMs to develop a wide range of VoIP devices for the rapidly expanding IP telephony market.

Infineon's INCA-IP is an advanced single-chip IP telephone solution. Cost-optimized for VoIP terminals INCA-IP features conferencing and hands-free functionality with high quality audio performance. Voice features are complemented by a full-fledged 3-port Ethernet switch with packet prioritization for Quality of Service. Infineon's ATA is a fully operating 2/4 channel voice gateway that allows system engineers to develop VoIP router solutions in short time-to-market cycles. The combined package consisting of the ADM5120 network controller, the VINETIC voice processor and the SLIC-DC chipset delivers a complete telephony solution for SOHO and SME environments.
Jungo's OpenRG is an advanced software platform for developing home/SOHO routers, voice gateways, IP phones and wireless devices. The software has been integrated into Infineon's INCA IP and ATA providing comprehensive VoIP support for H.323, SIP and MGCP and voice applications, including Initiate Call, Receive Call, Multiple-line appearances, (3-way) Conference, Hold and Caller ID. Additional OpenRG features incorporated into the INCA IP include SPI Firewall, VPN, UPnP, remote upgrade and Web-based management.
