Accelerated Technology First RTOS Vendor to Distribute ARM Developer Suite
APRIL 3, 2001, MOBILE, AL - Accelerated Technology, Inc. (ATI), the leader of source code and non-royalty based Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) software, announced that they are the first RTOS vendor to sign an agreement for the rights to distribute the ARM Developer Suite (ADS) through its worldwide sales network. This new distribution agreement between Accelerated Technology and ARM [(LSE: ARM); (Nasdaq: ARMHY)], the industry?s leading provider of 16/32-bit embedded RISC microprocessor solutions, extends the original agreement made by the two companies in 1998.
Under the new agreement, Accelerated Technology will market, distribute and support the ADS software package as part of its extensive list of software development and debugging tools for the ARM® microprocessor architecture.
?As ARM has continued its phenomenal growth over the years, Accelerated Technology has been with them every step of the way. Accounting for the majority of our Revenue, we have developed a full set of embedded software along with our own debugging environment. By reselling the ARM toolset, we are positioned to provide one of the most complete and robust tools offering available from any RTOS vendor for the ARM processor. We are pleased to be the first to resell the ADS tool suite,? said Neil Henderson, president of Accelerated Technology, Inc.
?The extension of our partnership with ATI gives their customers access to the ARM flagship development product, the ARM Developer Suite,? said Rod Crawford, director, Third-Party Software Products, ARM. ?Now ATI customers can enjoy the major benefits of our state-of the-art fully integrated ARM toolchain giving them a significant time to market advantage.?
Accelerated Technology offers a wide variety of Nucleus products for the ARM architecture. These Nucleus products include prototyping products, kernels, networking suite, Web-enabling software, graphics package, multitasking debugger and application monitoring tools.
