MILPITAS, Calif., August 3, 2004 - LSI Logic Corporation (NYSE: LSI) today announced that Pulsus Technologies Inc., a Korean-based leading developer of all-digital audio amplifier technology, has licensed the ZSP400 digital signal processor (DSP) core with IC products ready for production in mobile digital audio applications. By leveraging the ZSP core, Pulsus Technologies has a signal processing solution featuring optimized power and performance needed to serve the growing market of digital audio amplifiers that are rapidly replacing analog amplifiers. DSP technology is critical in achieving high quality and efficient digital audio amplification in portable devices like cell phones as well as automotive and home entertainment products.
