TriCN Signs Reseller Agreement with True Circuits for Silicon-Proven Timing IP
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - October 25, 2004 - TriCN, a leading developer of intellectual property (IP) for high-speed semiconductor interface technology, today announced that it has signed a reseller agreement with True Circuits, Inc. (TCI), a leading provider of analog and mixed-signal IP for the semiconductor, systems and electronics industries based in Los Altos, CA. Under the terms of the agreement, TriCN will offer True Circuits timing IP to its customers worldwide.
TriCN’s Base I/O library is particularly well suited to the demands of high-performance interface applications. The cells are designed to accommodate more robust power and ground demands, allowing for an effective area gain compared to competing libraries. All cells feature built-in noise isolation to provide improved operation and reliability in high-performance applications. Additionally, the library is designed to support not only bond-wire, but also flip-chip packaging typically found in high-speed ICs.
"TriCN customers have been requesting a wide variety of mixed-signal products. True Circuits provides the best solution to meet this demand because of its broad analog product portfolio and excellent reputation," said Steve McConnell, Vice President - Marketing for TriCN. "The True Circuits-TriCN partnership gives our customers a one-stop shop for high-quality, silicon-proven interface and analog timing hard macros."
"TriCN is a respected player in the semiconductor industry and we are pleased to add them to our growing list of worldwide sales channels," remarked Stephen G. Maneatis, Chief Executive Officer of True Circuits.
