MindTree to Exhibit its Bluetooth Solutions for Mobile Telephony at WiCon Americas
Bangalore, Nov 4, 2004 - MindTree Consulting, a leading provider of Bluetooth Intellectual Properties (IPs) and solutions, today announced that it would showcase its Bluetooth Protocol Stack and Profiles, targeted for usage in mobile phones and other handheld devices, among other advanced technology solutions at the WiCon Americas Wireless conference to be held in Santa Clara on November 9-10, 2004.
MindTree offers one of the most complete suites of Bluetooth-based solutions in the industry. This includes EtherMind™ 1.2 Upper Layer Stack and Profiles, BlueWiz™ 1.2 Baseband Controller, Headset/Hands-free, Serial Adapter, Human Interface Devices (HID) and other solutions.
EtherMind 1.2 is one of the most advanced suites of Bluetooth Upper Stack and Profiles. EtherMind Stack is designed for embedded applications, hand-held devices, computer peripherals and other small form factor applications. EtherMind Profiles include a comprehensive set such as HandsFree (HF), Headset (HS), A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), PAN (Personal Area Networking), Dialup Networking (DUNP), Basic Imaging (BIP), SyncP (Synchronization), Serial Port (SPP), File Transfer (FTP), Object Push (OPP), Telephony (CTP/ICP), Peripheral Interconnect (HID), Audio/Video Remote Control (AVRCP) and others.

We have licensed our EtherMind solution to multiple product vendors such as manufacturers of mobile handsets, PDAs, MP3 players, etc. At WiCon Americas, we shall demonstrate our solutions for mobile platforms such as Nucleus RTOS and advanced Profiles such as image transfer over Bluetooth with Basic Imaging profile (BIP), data synchronization with Synchronization profile, etc.”
At WiCon Americas, MindTree will also display its Bluetooth Controller. BlueWiz 1.2 is one of the most advanced versions of Bluetooth Baseband controller. BlueWiz 1.2 is v1.2-compliant, BQB-qualified, proven in silicon, and has been implemented in several products, including handheld devices, automotive applications, consumer appliances and protocol test equipment by respected global product companies.
