Actel Expands Solution Partners Program with Four New Members
Partners to Provide New Design Services, EDA Tools and Application Software for Customers Using Actel FPGAs
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., February 14, 2005 — Actel Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTL), a leading provider of programmable logic solutions, today announced four new partners have joined the company's Solution Partners Program, bringing total participation to 22 members. The program brings together leading providers of design services, embedded software and hardware products, forming a comprehensive support network for Actel FPGAs. The Solution Partners Program provides customers with access to experienced third-party resources that can help them quickly overcome design challenges and get their Actel-based designs to market faster. The new partners announced today are Altium Limited, Data I/O Corporation, Device Engineering Inc. and GAO Research Inc.

- Altium Limited is a developer and supplier of electronics design software for the Microsoft Windows environment. Founded in 1985, Altium continues to provide advanced, easy-to-use and affordable software design tools to electronics engineers, designers and developers. Altium offers hardware and software tools that designers can use with Actel FPGAs in the development of their designs.
- Data I/O Corporation is a leading provider of programming and automated device handling, programming and marking systems for programmable integrated circuits. Celebrating 30 years in the device programming industry, Data I/O provides manual and automated device programming systems that specifically address the requirements of engineering and manufacturing customers. Data I/O programmers support Actel FPGAs and are available for single or multi-site programming in manual and automated systems.
- Device Engineering Inc. (DEI) designs, manufactures and tests high-quality ICs for avionics and industrial applications. DEI offers a range of interface and control products for power, lighting and avionics busses. It has a complete family of line drivers, receivers, and transceivers for the ARINC 429 data bus, compliant with the ARINC 429 specification. The DEI line drivers and receivers are used in conjunction with Actel's Core429 to implement a complete 429 Bus interface.
- GAO Research Inc. is the leading provider of embedded communications software for telecommunications, semiconductor and electronics companies worldwide. GAO offers its VoIP and FoIP solutions, V.92 and V.90, with all fallback soft-modems, Super G3 and G3 fax software, speech and video codecs on the broadest range of DSPs and microprocessors.
