Huaya Microelectronics Ltd Licenses MIPS Processor for Its DTV Products
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, and SHANGHAI, CHINA, March 16, 2005 - MIPS Technologies, Inc., (NASDAQ: MIPS), a leading provider of industry-standard processor architectures and cores for digital consumer and business applications, and Huaya Microelectronics, Limited, a world-class provider of custom chips for video solutions, today announced that HuayaMicro has licensed the MIPS32® 4Kc® SMIC .18 hard core to develop innovative digital television (DTV) products for the China market.
