Jointwave focuses on video/audio CODECs technology and provides codec and related IP cores for both FPGA and ASIC. Jointwave’s high performance H.264 video encoder provides broadcast level video quality, but consumes extremely low power and small hardware resources.
Our H.264 solution supports standard and high definition formats up to 1080p@30~60fps in a Xilinx Spartan-6/Vertix-4/5/6/7,Kintex-7FPGA. All of our H.264 codec IP cores are easy to customize and integrate into your FPGA or SoC environment. We provide comprehensive consultancy and technical support to help customers evaluate and implement a complete H.264 solution.
Jointwave is a professional register transfer level (RTL) IP provider,, especially H.264 encoder and decoder, and associated functions such as TS multiplexer/demultiplexer. We're the first company to release real-time 1080p@30fps H.264 encoders on Cyclone® III devices (EP3C55), and the first company to release 1080p@60fps H.264 encoders on Stratix® III / Stratix IV / Arria® II GX devices (EP3SL50). Joinwave's H.264 CODEC can be used in a variety of applications, such as industrial, military, broadcasting, medical, wireless video/audio communication, and storage.
