Developing trusted SoCs for the Internet of Things

Security and trust are essential components for the safe and reliable operation of the Internet of Things. In this talk we introduce the security requirements of SoCs designed for IoT. We will analyze the various types of devices and associated threat profiles. We will review applicable communication standards including Apple's recently introduced HomeKit, and present a security architecture for secure and interoperable devices.
