Fusion G6 DSP with Applications to Radar Signal Processing
Pushkar Patwardhan gives an overview of the ISA (Instruction Set Architecture) features of the Tensilica Fusion G6 DSP, which is a new DSP in the Fusion G family of DSPs. He compares the ISA features of the G3 and G6, and shows the increased capabilities of the G6. He takes Radar signal processing as a typical target application. After showing the typical processing pipeline, he outlines the ISA features of the Fusion G family useful for implementing those algorithms, thus making it suitable for Radar signal processing applications.
