FSM
FSM (Finite State Machine) is a model of behaviour composed of a finite number of states, transitions between these states, and actions.
One form is the "Moore machine", where the output is only determined by the current state. Another form is the "Mealy machine", where the output is determined by both the current state and its inputs.
