RAM
Also called: Random-Access MemoryRAM (Random-Access Memory) is a circuit that stores programs and data in many embedded systems. RAM does not retain information when the power is off and must therefore be reinitialized every time the embedded system is switched on. There are many varieties of RAM including the two most popular types: Dynamic RAM (DRAM) and Static RAM (SRAM).
