SRAM
Also called: Static Random-Access MemorySRAM (Static Random-Access Memory) is a circuit that stores programs and data in many embedded systems. SRAM does not retain information when the power is off and must therefore be reinitialized every time the embedded system is switched on. SRAM is more expensive than DRAM on a cost-per-bit basis but is usually easier to connect to a microprocessor or microcontroller.
