LONDON, United Kingdom, and TORONTO, Canada – June 11, 2025 - Alphawave Semi (LSE: AWE), a global leader in high-speed connectivity and compute silicon for the world’s technology infrastructure, announced its participation at the PCI-SIG® Developers Conference 2025, where it will highlight interoperability with its I/O chiplet AlphaCHIP1600, and optical PCI Express® (PCIe®) technology capabilities. The company also congratulates PCI-SIG on the release of the PCIe 7.0 specification, an important step in shaping the future of high-performance computing.
"A PCIe-capable I/O chiplet reflects the industry's efforts toward advancing composable, flexible technology built on robust and widely adopted industry standards," said Al Yanes, PCI-SIG President and Chairperson. “In addition, optical interoperability demonstrations will widen PCIe technology’s reach, bringing its low-power, low-latency benefits to new applications.”
At the event, Alphawave Semi will demonstrate the interoperability of its AlphaCHIP™ I/O chiplet with leading test and measurement (T&M) platforms, reinforcing its position as the industry’s first off-the-shelf I/O chiplet to interoperate at PCIe 6.0 protocol. Alphawave Semi’s demos will also highlight seamless interconnectivity across its subsystems with ecosystem partners at both 64 GT/s and 128 GT/s rates.
At booth #1, Alphawave Semi will present a powerful lineup of live demonstrations showcasing its latest PCIe 6.0-ready silicon, optical PCIe technology capabilities, and JTOL performance. Additional collaborative demos will be featured throughout the show floor with key ecosystem partners:
These demos underscore Alphawave Semi’s leadership in delivering interoperable, production-ready connectivity solutions architected for the future of PCIe technology
