SIMPLEX EXTRACTION AND ANALYSIS TOOLS CHOSEN BY MIPS TECHNOLOGIES FOR 64-BIT MICROPROCESSOR DESIGN

SUNNYVALE, Calif., - December 4, 2000 - Simplex Solutions, Inc. today announced that it has signed an agreement with MIPS Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of industry standard processor architectures and cores for digital consumer and network applications, for Simplex?s SoC verification tools. Under the agreement, MIPS Technologies will deploy Simplex?s VoltageStorm? SoC power integrity and Fire & Ice® QX extraction tools at the MIPS Denmark Development Center (MDDC) in Copenhagen, Denmark.
