Embeddia first Silicon IP for Digital Cable IP successfully introduced in the market
Providing Field-proven Silicon IP for Digital Cable TV reception
September 27, 2005 -- Embeddia has successfully delivered its first Silicon Intellectual Property (SIP) product for multistandard digital cable reception to a large international semiconductor company. EMB5000 cable IP product allows for worldwide digital cable TV reception, featuring excellent performances, advanced and innovative features such as automatic symbol rate detection as well as fast VHF-UHF bandwidth scanning. EMB5000 is suitable for all worldwide standards, in particular the European DVB-C standard and the US ITU.J83 Annex B standard. “High quality, first class performances even in the stringent 256 QAM mode, small size and ease of use are the main characteristics of this first silicon IP product that is demonstrated on a small FPGA platform, allowing customers to conduct their own set of tests in their environment” claims Eric Mauger, Embeddia’s VP System and Architecture.
