IP market a challenge for EDA
Richard Goering, EE Times
(04/03/2006 9:00 AM EDT) San Jose, Calif. -- Bill Martin, general manager for Mentor Graphics Corp.'s Intellectual Property Division, made an important statement in a panel discussion on IP quality here last week--and it wasn't anything he said. It was his appearance that mattered, despite reports that Mentor is turning away from the IP business. "I'm still alive," Martin told EE Times. "I'm still selling and closing business. Part of the reason for me being here [at the International Symposium on the Quality of Electronic Design panel] is to dispel the rumors we hear from a lot of customers." |
