Socle Launches ''ARM7EJ-STM SoCEnable Program''; ''Enjoy Now, Pay After'' Is Also Applicable to SoC Design Service
Taipei, Aug. 28, 2006 – Socle Technology Corporation, the leading SoC design service and IP provider, initiated its “ARM7EJ-S SoCEnable Program” – to provide customers the best combination of flexibility and competitiveness in ARM7EJ-S business model in the customization of customers’ applications. This program allows customers to access to and use of Socle’s out-performing hard core technology based on ARM7EJ-S source code license by ARM® Limited to Socle. The deliverables of this program include ARM7EJ-S hardcore macros, which are implemented with 90nm, 0.13um and 0.18um processes of world class foundries, cache controller, design simulation kit for chip integration and verification (SEDSK, Design Simulation Kit), and development kit for application development and debug (SEDK, SoCEnable Development Kit). The package will provide customers with highly flexible design and manufacture solutions to reduce SoC design barriers and risks. With the combination of “ARM7EJ-S SoCEnable Program” and “Enjoy Now, Pay After ”, Socle now provides customers with ARM7EJ-S hard cores in the most efficient way to speed up their initial design cycle and time-to-market. In addition to ARM7TDMI® instruction set compatibility and the excellent Java performance and DSP throughput of ARM7EJ-S, Socle also incorporates its proprietary Cache Controller, which can improve data processing speed and performance significantly, together with the ARM7EJ-S CPU core.
