Chips&Media expands high definition video IP license agreement
Freescale among first to license new high definition video IP technology
Seoul, Korea --- September 19, 2007 -- Consumers can look to Freescale Semiconductor and Chips&Media for state-of-the-art high definition video technology in upcoming wireless and mobile devices. Leading video IP provider Chips&Media announced today that Freescale will use Chips&Media’s High Definition Video IP in its next generation i.MX multimedia applications processors, enabling a new class of high-quality, low-power portable and mobile video products.
